7th anniversary

We recently passed another mile marker in our ongoing love story, the 7th year of marriage!

Very excited to have been blessed to spend so much time with a truly wonderful man, I love him so much, and start to tear up when I think about actually how blessed we have been to share our lives together.

The evening we spent out for our anniversary was so lovely and peaceful. We live in the city so heading downtown was only about a 10 minute drive.

We visited a lovely place, Mia Bella Trattoria where we enjoyed a rather decadent Italian meal complete with some of the best tiramisu I have ever had, and I am rather picky about my tiramisu.

It was such a memorable night, and I am really glad that I am able to share a tiny bit of it with all of you.

Travels: Luxe Life

Recently visited some friends and picked up a new car. A 2013 touring Honda Accord. It was one of those quick jet-setting weekends where you're come back far more exhausted than when you left home, but of course, well worth being tired.

We stayed at the Aloft from W Hotels, it was beyond luxurious and very enjoyable, only wish we had more time to enjoy the stay.

Right now we are beyond amazed at the blessings in our life, we have amazing family, friends and are currently involved in work that we love.

Recent anniversary present from my AMAZING hubby: The Neverfull.

I have wanted one of these babies for awhile now, it is le clasique.

Chic, elegant, classic, luxurious, there are so many adjectives which spring to mind when one mentions the neverfull.

 I adore this handbag, I don't own many handbags, and since this one I can't imagine wanting any other one!

So many exciting things have been happening in our life lately, career advancements, amazing opportunities, and a few exciting purchases! Well, obviously :)

This year is clearly shaping up to be a truly blessed one.

I know I don't deserve any of it, but I am so grateful for every single blessed second.

The neverfull brings me to contemplate luxurious or decadent purchases in accordance with the art of living well.

While I would never say such items are pertinent to a quality life, remember ones luxury item may be entirely different than another. Also its important when purchasing or bringing anything into your life, that it goes with your lifestyle.

Don't splurge often, but when you do make sure its something you love, and will get much use out of.

After all, one of the essential concepts of the art of living well is to enjoy the life.

Some days were meant for simply daydreaming.

Today was one of those days.

Some days I tend to laze about, I take a long bath, do my hair and make-up and put on a pretty dress or something that makes me feel good, and simply enjoy the day that I've been blessed with.

I have this little window seat in my bedroom, it is just the right size for reading a good book, sipping coffee while bird watching, or simply gazing at the creation and meditating on everything wonderful and beautiful in the world.

I hope that you all are enjoying this day, however you choose to do so.
